This activity is run by Shebear, no need to book just come over to the orchard. There are limited places due to limited materials so arrive promptly! Children under the age of 10 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Shebear is DBS checked but cannot be responsible for anyone’s actions.
Leaf bashing/Happa Zome
Hapa Zome is the Japanese term for beating (or tapping really) leaves or flowers with hammers, pounding their natural pigment into cloth. Hapa Zome is essentially just banging a stone on some flowers or leaves to make a print pattern, although you could use a hammer if you wanted!
Wooden Medallion Decorating
Decorate a slice of branch with stickers, sharpies etc. Add a string and you have your own natural wooden medallion.
